Is it unkind to refer to an ex as a dead albatross?

There are some ex's I used to regard as a waste of space and time, but looking back everything that has happened in my life has lead to me the point I am at, and that is with my soul mate. Looking at it that way made me lose all anger I had for them. It helped me alot to look at it that way x

Starting Legion Ball tonight, nervous, Christians please help?

Ok. I'm Starting a 16-19 year old Legion Baseball team tonight, which is extrememly competetive. Whats worse, is that i got cut from spring ball this year as a junior for the second straight year. Im the youngest kid this summer and probably the one with the least amount of ability. Even the coach said if i sign up i probably wont get alot of playing time, or pretty much none. My motives for playing ball has always been because i love it, and that i just want to go out and have fun, try my best (thus giving glory to the Lord). I'm actually not that bad, i just get extreme stage fright (EVEN during practice). This impairs me, because i'm not focusing on making the play, but how all of my friends and buddies will laugh if i miss it. I desperately want to get past this so i can have a fun summer league season. Im going to spend some time alone with God before i go tonight, but if any christians want to offer me some advice, inspiration, or bible verses all is much appreciated. Prayer too.

Quite frankly i need advice?

i know that the the conclusion in this won't be well but i have to try, my sister has recently been looking for a job line and well she thought she found "one" anyway they said she had a job online and gave her a money order for about 900 bucks. they told her to send it to someone and well it was sent to the phillipines. i don't know what to do for her but i at least want some help or something about the money because her and my brother in law needed it. i know i'm vague on the details but if i asked questions from her it would've made her made so this is all i got

The franchise is great. It is 10-10. This game is great and never bores me. You need to be a good team to get good free agents. They have a LOT of real minor league players but a lot in AA and pretty much all in A are made up.

My brother (Age 8) has run away ?!?

Okay first- take a deep breath, your son will be fine- dogs are very protective and they have good instincts to get back to the house. And yes, im sure the dog will bark. So just sit tight and wait until he's found. No 8 year old that I know of would spend the night outside so if he isn't found by the police, I'm sure he make his way back with the help of the dog. As for moving- not the only option, try counseling and telling the school about the bullying situation. Just keep your cool, I'm sure your son will be found!

My mom and dad are divorced. My dad has ruined my moms life well tried many times pretty much. mostly finacially. He left me and my 2 sis while my mom struggled and now that my mom and rest of family have a better life he trys to come back in it by really bribing us with money and materials. of course being teens we accept them but we are only using our dad. My mom doesnt like it saying that we love him more than her. Cause being an only parent she had to go through alot of trouble with us especially my 2 sis. But anyhow we telll her that we love her but she doesnt believe that at all.With our mom we had little money to really enjoy our childhood to the prime so my siblings though it would be okay just to use him. Now my sis is graduating but she wanted my dad to go to her graduation. Mom got pissed and said that she wasnt going to her graduation thats about to come up if the man is there. Saying how he is going to front in front of everyone else when he did do shix to raze us. That he was taking all the glory like he was this so called great dad. Now our mom pretty much hates us. My sis invited the man to the graduation because for once in her life she wanted the whole family together. I told my mom that she should respect her decision but she still doesnt care. She refuses to go out to eat. Im tired of their stupid feud and i am bout to go mad. For one day i just need the to stfu and be neutral for once. Cause if its the last thing i do i will make sure that my sis has the best graduation. I know after all that my sis shouldnt want to talk to the man after all the times he lied to us etc. but she told me thats she pitys him. Please i need feedback
