How long do you have to wait to get your g2?

i live in belleville Ontario Canada, im 18 nd have been drivin off and on for 2 yrs now without a license, lol but today i got bored and went and took the g1 test thinkin i was gonna fail lol (and ended up pin with flyin colours), so im just wonder how long do i have to wait in order to go for a g2?, is it still a 8 month wait? i knw be4 it was a 12 but they dropped it down to 8?. im jw cuz even tho i have a g1 theres no1 around tht i can drive with haha so i want my g2 so i can get another car nd drive by myself
