I have a 1982 Mariner 50HP 4cyl. 2 stroke Outboard.?

Either the carb float is set incorrectly, or the inlet (needle) valve is sticking or has some crap in the jet. Remove, disemble, and thoroughly clean the carb(s) using a "dunk tank" and compressed air.
